TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.

Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, tabtrade is at Trade The Day.
