TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
